Think the hazy half-light of D-Bridge and Boards of Canada, the broken logic of Aphex Twin, and Tyler the Creator's don't-care-if-it's-clean approach to putting things together. The sounds are built from unusual sources, processed in ways that probably aren't recommended, finished when they feel done rather than when they sound normal.
