The sounds are experimental and ambient — built from unusual sources, processed in ways that probably aren't recommended, finished when they feel done rather than when they sound normal.

Skunkworks Digital is one person. There was a label once. Tried to help people get heard, couldn't make it work for them, so stopped pretending otherwise. Now it's just this — four names, four directions, one strange place they all came from.

Deft Nooms — ambient and breaks. Slow, textural. Music for staring out of windows.

Lockheed — techno and hardcore. Named after an aerospace company that builds things nobody's supposed to talk about. The music is about the same.

Smurk — minimal. Not much going on. That's the whole point.

S3X — garage and trance. The most likely to get played somewhere loud. Don't hold your breath though.
